Dell has just released (in time for the holiday season) their smallest desktop computer to date, the Dell Inspiron Zino HD. This 8 inch by 8 inch cube computer the look and also exact dimensions of Apple Mini but is clearly different on several fronts. First, the Zino HD is far cheaper with the lowest costing configuration setting you back a mere $300 ranging all the way up to $850 (4GB ram, blu ray drive, 1TB HD, fast processor).
The Dell Zino HD has been getting plenty of buzz because it seems like a low cost entertainment pc which can fit just about anywhere. I am sure plenty of people are going to buy this thing and install it in their cars! The Dell Zino HD features 4 USB ports, plenty of ins and outs (most importantly the HDMI out). Having a dedicated HDMI out port makes this the living room pc. While some people have grown to hate Dell you cannot complain about this Zino HD- it offers the lowest price compact PC with plenty of biodegradability and will find creative uses in the next few years.
