Retailing for just under $1000, the Gibson Reverse Flying V Guitar has been selling like hotcakes despite the fact that it was originally released as a limited edition model. Gibson even goes on to report that the reverse Flying V was the hottest and fastest selling electric guitar model they have ever introduced. There is no doubt that the demand exists, but what features does this guitar have?
Not many people realize (or remember) that the original Gibson Flying V guitar actually was introduced back in 1958! This guitar is constructed of top quality solid mahogany, Kluson-style green tuners, and a V shaped gold tailpiece. The guitar will be produced in yet another small batch available in three colors- Classic White, Ebony and Natural. Only 300 of each color will be created! Again, even for investment purposes there is no doubt that this guitar will hold and then increase in value over the years. Electronically speaking this guitar features classic 57' pickups and only one volume knob.
Again, this guitar is extremely rare and has already been well received. if you own one of these you are lucky!
