Review: Gibson Custom Slash Inspired Les Paul Standard VOS
Retailing for around $5880 this Gibson Les Paul is made to recreate Slash's exact guitar specifications and mods. This solidbody has a one piece all mahogany neck. The neck is the 1960's style slimmer Les Paul neck which allows for faster playing. This certainly works for Slash!
The classic rosewood fretboard is complimented byca carved maple top and all mahogany back. Yes, this guitar does feel beefy and heavy in the hands. The electronic components are certainly what gives this Les Paul it's signature Slash sound. Slash uses 2 Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups. These sound incredibly hot and reactive.
This guitar certainly packs a punch. You could save yourself some cash though and buy a Les Paul standard and pimp it out with these wicked pickups.

Hi there, I just bought this Slash Les Paul Standard VOS guitar for $4500 (brand new, case, certificate, etc). It is a beauty, it feels and plays amazing. Hard to get these days since they only made 300 of them.
